We just completed a gorgeous new interior project in Booterstown – want to have a peek?
I thought you might say that! This glorious makeover included a cloakroom bathroom + the sweetest child’s bedroom design.
Cloakroom Bathroom
Our client wanted to carry out something fun and quirky in this little cloakroom bathroom located adjacent to the kitchen and pantry. We decided to inject this petite bathroom with a beautifully bold colour scheme and used a geometric tile design to accompany it. This geometric design essentially sets off the entire scheme and works so well against the deep blue navy hue we applied on the walls. We specified an ornate, Edwardian style basin which softens the boldness of the scheme.
The tailored selection of decorative finishes such as mirrors, prints and a vase all work together to create a curated interior, giving that ‘feel good’ factor to our clients.
Little Ladies Bedroom
We always love putting together a adorable + playful scheme for a child’s bedroom and this particular project perfectly shows why.
Our client wanted to create a space for their daughter that offered up both a restful place to wind down in, along with a space that promotes creativity and inspiration. They were also conscious that the room needed to be flexible in relation to their daughter growing up. Essentially, they wanted to avoid installing a scheme with an expiry date.
This room was the ideal canvas to bring in a vibrant pop of colour through the use of paint and decorative finishes such as cushions and prints. We used the luscious and new Pink Ground which Farrow & Ball recently launched. This powder pink hue was then installed alongside a delicate wallpaper, ‘Dot’ by Ferm Living.
This space lacked storage so we proceeded to maximise the lovely original recesses and build bespoke wardrobes into these nooks. We went for a contemporary micro shaker door which works so effortlessly to create a clean aesthetic. We paired this ensemble with playful prints and cushions. It’s the smaller details that really tie together the entire scheme!
