We’re seeing off the Summer with a cocktail party in April and the Bear – what could be better? Delicious cocktails and the last of the Summer sun, yes please! These cocktails are the best and the receipes are EASY, let’s kick proceedings off with April and the Bear’s version of a Whiskey Sour!
A Blushing Whiskey Sour
The Whiskey Sour is a classic cocktail that is incredibly versatile – we’re making it our own with some delicious blackberries and our favourite Teeling whiskey.
– Ice
– 60 ml simple syrup
– 30 ml of whiskey
– 20 ml of egg white
– Raspberries
– Cocktail shaker
– strainer
Method:
Smush your berries, pop into the cocktail shaker with your syrup and whiskey and some more ice. SHAKE! For like 10 seconds. Add a few large pieces of ice to your short glass and then strain the cocktail in. Add a raspberry to the top, sip + enjoy!

Raspberry Gin fizz
If you love a gin cocktail – this cocktail receipe is for you! It’s a drink that really allows the bright flavour of the gin to shine through but it’s softened by the textural foam on top.
– 50ml of rose gin
– 20 ml of simple syrup
– 30 ml of lemon juice
– Handful of Raspberries
– 1 egg white
– Dash of Soda Water
– Cocktail shaker
– strainer
Method:
Muddle a handful of raspberries in the cocktail shaker, then about 60 ml of rose gin – we used Glendalough Rose Gin which was divine, those floral notes! Yum. Then add 40ml lemon juice and sugar syrup, add one egg white and shake. Then add ice and shake again, after shaking add your soda water and pour!
